Fish the protected waters of the scenic Barkley Sound and
surrounding offshore areas from June to September.
Troll for all salmon species starting with the highly prized Chinook or “King Salmon.” Bucktail for feisty Cohos, also known as silvers. Sockeye fishing is second to none during the last 2 weeks of June. In the outer parameters of Barkley Sound, anglers can jig up Pacific Halibut in the 30 to 50 pound range. Larger sized Halibut have been boated
occasionally weighing in the 70′s and 80′s with the biggest Hali weighing in at 125 pounds.
